I originally started this post 3 weeks before retirement, but never published it -- too busy with end of school year doings and exhausted at the end of my "official" career.
Now, I have been retired for 6 months, and I'm loving it! (even after receiving a (surprise!) needed total hip replacement)
I dreamed for years of just being able to "be," to pursue my interests as I see fit, and spend more time with/training my dogs and horse. And reading. And writing. Yay!
I will post my next "great adventures" here, as soon as I am back to full activities following the hip replacement.
