September used to be my favorite month. I still love that the air is changing, getting slowly back to the dry Arizona desert I love so much. I think October or November is my new favorite, though. It will actually be cooler and drier then. Finally, this morning it was in the high 60's when I went out at 5:45 a.m. to do chores. The dogs and horse were all frisky, running and bucking just for the joy of it!
Though the days are still hot (supposed to get up to 98 degrees F today), we have a promise of gorgeous weather to come. Time for riding and driving the horse and taking long rambles through the desert and mountains with the dogs. Yay!
